THREE PERSON - And look at the number of meals we had!! It was crazy! Here goes meal #1: Tempura Moriwase Meal #2: California Roll That's Ben and Aimran. Masyarakat Majmuk I tell you! Very muhibah!! We had clear soup with crab and egg as well. Ben la, crazy go and order kao kao. The person behind me is the Japanese Sushi Maker (what do you call them again?) This place is seriously seriously authentic!
Dish #3: Some Deep Fried Fish, dunno what it's called... Ben loves it! Dish #4: Sushi Set, what else! As fresh as it gets ;) Dish #5: Eel wrapped in Egg (Tamago) doused in special sauce. Now, this was EXCELLENT! a MUST try :D
Dish #6: Salmon Roe Nigiri. Ben saw this one at another table where a couple were having dinner. We wanted it too and ordered :P Dish #7: Salmon Teriyaki Set Ben had this one. Looks good. Dish #8: Tempura Udon Set Aimran had this one. Looks ok. He had trouble finishing it, too full konon!
Dish #9: King Prawn Teriyaki I had this ones! Looks pleasing but a tad too dry for me. I prefered the Egg Rolled Eel :) Dish #10: Tamago Nigiri Ben apparently loved it, and hence we ordered more. I don't blame him: look at the thickness of the egg!! Yum! Ben is going crazy with the amount of food he ordered! Apparently the cost isn't a problem lol... Can you tell he's super high now? hehe. Look he's even sprouting fins at the sides of his head!
Aimran, due to overdose of food intake that night, turned into a "Modern Mat" or something similar to that. He's the one trying to control the situation that kinda got out of hand when both me and Ben were ordering like nobody's business (we can't help it when we see other people having something good!) Alas he was no match too for the pretty Jap waitresses that float by :P Dish #11: Salmon Nigiri When we ordered this, the couple sitting next to us was wide-eyed because they came after us, but have already finished their dinner. And if that's not enough.... Dish #12: Dunnowutucall Tofu We went and ordered the last dish they had because they said it was amazing, and yes we weren't disappointed; the skin is crispyly soft while the insides can just melt in your tongue! And that was the end, much to Aimran's relief :P
The surrounding at the Sushi Bar. They have something called Asahi Black Beer! The Chef and his workplace! Shisha time!! Can anyone guess what this is?
An ice-pouch placed right below the molasses! Apparently enhances the flavours through the smoke that passes it by. We use Al Fhaker of course, quality stuff ;) The all new, complete sushi set bought by 29 Bridgeway Street team! Specials includes leather pipe, wide-brimmed placeholder and ice-pouch!
