Yes, now anyone and everyone can become a potential scapegoat. Nobody will be spared, and hackers will be the most sought-after talent during trying times. It will be a double-edged sword nobody can control.
Guilty until proven innocent? In the end, the people with plenty of resource to spare will end up being the ultimate winner.
As much as the government wants to try and crack down seditious comments made by anonymous people, for their sake or for ours, this act can only mean to limit our internet freedom, which can only mean that our progress as a nation will halt unintentionally.
You won’t see it now, but you will live to regret in the future should you not take this chance to stop it from happening. This is an apolitical move, so don’t brand it otherwise.
