About Christopher Tock

Hi, I’m Christopher Tock — a strategist, transformation architect and lifelong believer that technology matters most when it helps people do better work.

I work where artificial intelligence, digital transformation and workforce change meet. Much of my time goes into turning emerging technology into practical capabilities: clearer operating models, stronger teams, useful automation and systems that can scale without losing their human purpose.

Technology should create agency, not just efficiency.

Why Spinzer exists

Spinzer began in 2004, before “personal brand” became a job description and while blogging still felt like exploring a new neighbourhood. It became a record of whatever made life interesting: technology, food, travel, community projects, entrepreneurship, family milestones, hard lessons and occasional rants.

This redesign keeps that history intact. It is not meant to turn every old post into a polished thought-leadership article. The rough edges are part of the story. Spinzer is a living archive — a place to remember who I was, document what I am learning now and leave room for whatever comes next.

What I’m exploring now

  • Practical AI adoption and the capabilities organisations need to sustain it.
  • AI agents, digital workers and the operating models around them.
  • How leaders can redesign work without treating people as an afterthought.
  • Platform thinking, automation and systems that reduce repetitive work.
  • Malaysia and ASEAN’s role in the next chapter of digital transformation.

Earlier chapters

The archive traces a path through student leadership in London, community building, social entrepreneurship, Malaysia’s early social-media scene, digital strategy and organisational transformation. Along the way there were ventures, campaigns, talks, awards, experiments that worked and plenty that taught me what not to do.

Outside work, I remain curious about food, photography, travel, technology and the small family moments that make the bigger ambitions worthwhile.
