[flickr id=”6301641615″ thumbnail=”thumbnail” overlay=”true” size=”medium_640″ group=”Spritzer” align=”none”] So I just received this cute bundle of joy called the Spritzer Mini Dispenser. The last time I bought something like this, I loved it
so much but it quickly became damaged as it was some China product, and there goes my lazy-bum method to get my daily 8 cups of water a day haha. So, this mini dispenser is a super big welcome to my room 😀
I haven’t gotten a chance to use it yet, but here’s 10 reasons why you should own one!
1. Lazy person’s way to drink 8 cups of water a day! Just place it next to your bed… easy peasy 😛
5. It’s SPRITZER! A brand you can always trust for delicious water. Haha. But seriously, I’d go for good water anytime.
There’s actually two options of Spritzer 9.5L and 6L with Mini Dispenser Series, so it really depends how strong you are in the end 😛 I really can’t wait to share with you what else I can do with the Mini Dispenser, so look out for the next post!
I was devastated. I was clearly disturbed. No, it wasn’t about the freak accident that happened in MotoGP (RIP, Marco Simoncelli) but rather, on an event that took place recently, where a two-year-old girl in China was left critically injured on the road after being run over by a van on the 13th of October. Wait, make that TWO vehicles, one after another, and yet, no one who passed by (there were quite a number) went to her aid.
WHAT THE HELL RIGHT!?
Surveillance cameras showed a series of people walk past the girl, named Yue Yue, after she was hit first by a van and then a truck outside her family’s shop in the southern Chinese city of Foshan. Watch the video below, and be prepared to be shocked in tears.
So who came to help then? Apparently, it was a rubbish collector who finally came to the girl’s aid, moving her to the curb and shouting for help, and even then he was ignored by several shopkeepers before finally tracking down her
mother who took her to hospital. A RUBBISH COLLECTOR! I mean, are they the only human species who has feelings and are able to help a two-year-old dying child at least out of the road?!? Man, even the canine species can do better than us. But wait a minute, aren’t we humans supposed to be “human”? Or the real question is, are we REALLY humans?
Of course one could argue that this attitude isn’t helped by the law makers, where others linked the incident to an earlier case in which a man who tried to help an elderly woman after she fell over was prosecuted, apparently because his intervention broke government rules on dealing with accident victims. At least, the Chinese government in this respect. But honestly, we are we even afraid? How often does one go through the trauma of HELPING people, even more so when you know that you contributed to the DEATH of another person by leaving them DYING?!
In the end, the girl died after being in a coma (you can imagine the pain she went through… she was still friggin’ moving after being run down OKAY?!?!) and reports show that they caught the two irresponsible owners of the vehicle that ran over her. The big question still remains then… was it okay for everyone NOT to help this little girl, or any other person who may be dying?
This incident really broke the main dam of tears in me. Are we really that heartless a human? Playing quite a number of RPG games, it all revolves around the fact that we’re LOSING OUR HUMANITY. Is it too hard to lend a helping hand to an injured person? What are we becoming? Are we any different from those “future of the robots” kind of movie, where our world will eventually be run by emotionless robots? And the reason was always because the robots are told to “save the world”, and humans are the ones bringing them to destruction? Well guess what, we’re no different from that future. We, are becoming heartless, and unless we do something about it, we really could destroy the world.
GUYS, PLEASE DO NOT LOSE YOUR HEARTS! PLEASE DO NOT LOSE HOPE! PLEASE DO NOT FOLLOW DAMN RULES THAT COULD POSSIBLY BE THERE JUST TO SERVE A BUNCH OF ASSES WHO ARE OUT THERE TO PROTECT THEMSELVES!
Know your calling, stick to our heart’s calling, and just be human. If we can’t be humans, who else can? Your neighbour? Your friend? Your family? If we do not begin with ourselves, we will definitely lose it all, come next generation and the next. When that time comes, we are, really, no different than being robots, only doing what we are told to do, preferring to save ourselves and not be bothered about other people’s lives.
In that case, I’d really rather live in the world of the Matrix, or the Terminator. Whichever rocks my boat.
Human (The Killers)
I did my best to notice When the call came down the line Up to the platform of surrender I was brought but I was kind
And sometimes I get nervous When I see an open door Close your eyes, clear your heart Cut the cord
Are we human or are we dancers? My sign is vital, my hands are cold And I’m on my knees looking for the answer Are we human or are we dancers?
Pay my respects to grace and virtue Send my condolences to good Give my regards to soul and romance They always did the best they could
And so long to devotion You taught me everything I know Wave goodbye, wish me well You’ve gotta let me go
Are we human or are we dancers? My sign is vital, my hands are cold And I’m on my knees looking for the answer Are we human or are we dancers?
Will your system be alright When you dream of home tonight? There is no message we’re receiving Let me know, is your heart still beating?
Are we human or are we dancers? My sign is vital, my hands are cold And I’m on my knees looking for the answer
You’ve gotta let me know Are we human or are we dancers? My sign is vital, my hands are cold And I’m on my knees looking for the answer Are we human or are we dancers?
Are we human or are we dancers? Are we human or are we dancers?
