Marcian Days…

Just the other day I was feeling a tad bit melancholy. Fortunately, I’ve got a colleague (who I will refer to as Hamtaro) who’s the sweetest understanding person who never fails to slap me back into reality. What reality you say?

This reality. That there is so much food in this world that I have not tried yet, so there’s no way I can just lie down and forget the world to live in my fantasies, but to get up all burning with passion again to earn money so that I can fly everywhere in the world to taste the greatest taste of all!

After all, there’s no greater love than the love for food *winks*

It would then have to start with something small, which would be the food court at Pavilion. That’s where I had the lasagna above. Which was pretty good by the way πŸ™‚

She had these instead. Cute little fish medallions with shoe-string fries scattered all over. Guess it was more of the cutesy yummy then the orgasmic kind, but, you eat what you pay for, eh? hehe

We also decided to give this small little pizza-in-a-cone concept shop a visit… Japanese-oriented (along with international price, OUCH!!) I guess it was more of a gimic than an actual tasty treat.

ie NOT worth your money.

It’s pretty cute though, don’t you think? XD

I still feel melancholy at times, but seriously, I think I’ve got a whole lot of different views compared to others, and though many would not seem to understand me, I guess there’s an even bigger reason to show this world how I live through actions in my life, and less through words that could only portray a small piece of the all grand-stand plan that I have for the people of this world!

Ok a bit too dramatic hor? ahah… memang got people say I’m too dramatic, but ah, what’s a life without a little exaggeration, eh? πŸ˜‰

Indeed there’s a lot to see, small miniscule responses that could mean a whole universe of meanings. All it takes is for one to be observant. All it takes is for one to not lose their naviety, so to speak, without sacrificing acknowledgement of the cruelty of this world of course.

All it takes is for one to continue hoping, and giving hope, to others so much so that they can in turn enjoy life as how it should have been, and I think I’m in a very blessed position to do so πŸ™‚

Happy Deepavali my friends.

Eh wait. Christmas is coming along already!

Did you see my beautiful tree?

Zain and you @ Kampachi

The world is very small indeed. Who would’ve thought my Valentine sweetheart Chloe would be friends with another friend who’s also a friend’s of Zain HD, of RandomAlphabets.com?

But that’s what exactly happened. A night out to catch up with a dear friend turned out to be a very inspirational discussion between the two of us, much to the girl’s amusement!

Anyway we all met up at Kampachi, Pavilion. After hearing so much about it, I guess it wasn’t a surprise that I was looking forward to it so much. However after taking a look at the prices, suddenly my choices seem limited lol. So guys and gals, this place is, well, known as a Japanese fine dining experience, so you’d better come prepared (financially!) as well!

First off I called for one of their specialty dish. This happens to be some kind of liver doused in some kind of base… Sorry guys but their names simply eluded me :/ The taste was on the strong side, so I guess it’s not everyone’s cup of tea.. but it does give you the feeling of eating classy japanese dishes!

And so we ordered our bento set that costed us an average of RM50 per bento. Depending on the type of bento of course. The above is the Fried Rice with beef Bento (not actual name) and it was pretty nice… Full compliments to the decor though, cause I really believe food isn’t just about the taste, it’s also about the harmonic combination of visual and aromatic sensories that makes a perfect dish!

As you can see from the picture above, there’s not anything confusing about the freshness of the ingredients… okla I guess you can’t really tell by the pictures, but my tastebuds says so πŸ˜‰

Another look at the fried rice bento with beef… Why does it look so beautiful like you just wanna eat it all up?

Anyways, presenting the guy who brought you KL Freeze and the RWP project, Zain himself (Mr. Curly Hair)…

who looks kinda geeky cool the first time I met him! Before that of course we had a few correspondence… no thanks to us having a lot more common friends than we think we have lol. Anyway for a first impression it was definitely lasting, expected nothing less though haha… After all, we’re of the same, crazy-ass breed πŸ˜‰

And these were the girls who brought us together. Bloody camwhores πŸ˜›

One family photo coming up!!

Couldn’t resist lar, the place was simply too gorgeous to pass up an opportunity like this πŸ˜›

Anyway after dinner and LOTS and LOTS of discussion taking place (While the girls caught up among themselves and camwhoring pretty much the rest of the time), we headed to TGIF for some dessert.

The lighting is sooooo nice for shots like these πŸ˜€

“Wanna have my cherry?” *winks*

XD

And then the infamous brownies came. It looked so gorgeous that even though I didn’t like chocolate, I had a spoonful of this and boy did I enjoy myself πŸ˜€

As you can guess we had a lot of fun, from the things we talked about, to the things we were currently up to, to the circumstance that brought us together, and how were we supposed to know that it was a moment that started other movements as well, as it wasn’t a coincidence that we met again at the 2nd Malaysian Student Leader’s Summit, and who knows when else…

But I’m pretty sure we will, without doubt.

Cause he’s special like that. Here’s to Zain HD, a very respectable and funky guy, so likeable it’s hard not to admire his love for life! This enjoyous occasion was closed with him giving his cherry to me. No prizes for the true meaning of his intentions to me ya know πŸ˜‰

Man I noticed the series of post i have these days are full of queerness eh? XD
Well, to tell you the truth, we’re all living in exciting times, so it’s up to us to make the best use for it! For more inspiration, go read Khai Lee’s presentation at the MSC Innotech 2008 event. You won’t regret it, that guy is also so full of life, full of excitement that whenever any of you hang out with any of these guys, its hard not to get caught up with their passion in what each of them are doing, which will inadvertently affect the people of our generation!

Damn did I get too caught up in my own moments too haha. Well, more about these later I guess πŸ˜‰

Firdy, with Love

I was there, at his room. Didn’t like the sofa that much. Floor was cooling. Guess the wind blowing from the high-rise windows helped.

Then it occured to me that maybe, just maybe, that telescope from some science store neatly tucked in one corner of the room was used for more than just gazing stars, especially with the beautiful canvas drawing board set placed strategically right where the windows are, looking out at other high-rise apartments.

I saw mini-people strolling around outside the balconies as I looked out the window. Girls. Ah, now I see the source of such beautiful drawings of those faces, and especially the eyes, scattered around the number of canvases left lying around, unappreciated, in that small room of his.

The humble artist, is none other than Firdauz, my Love.

We went on Monday to grab some good Iranian grub, on top of my oncoming birthday πŸ™‚

The place was beautifully decorated. Seats were super comfy and melted at the weight of our backsides.

Tagrine Restaurant, along Jalan Sultan Ismail.

First came the homous. Our favourite. Eaten with pieces of bread-like Chapati.

Then the Lamb Tagine with Prunes came with such irresistible allurement, that it was nearly impossible for us not to start digging in. Heavenly texture of a lamb, and that sweet, sweet prunish sauce.

Charm. Is what he has. The guys at Nuffnang certainly wasn’t kidding.

Beautiful lights lit up my day πŸ˜€

Yes elmo dear, I know I’m fat. Urgh.

Then came our oversized final order (we didn’t really need this, super full)

It’s called the Royale Cous Cous.

Then the rest of the night was taken to talking, bonding, sharing and mostly, being in love.

With the ambience of course.

And that’s the end of my story. A start of our story. This is his story. Where’s yours?

Thank you Firdy. You’re an amazing person and I’ve never felt such an air of honesty for so long.

It’s you who keep my hopes up. It’s you who makes me realize that I’ve so much to do in this world.

It’s you who’ll help me in my path in helping others. That’s why I’m here, blessed already, to bless others who come my way. It’s a great time for appreciation, and a greater time for love πŸ˜€
