24th.

My new love. A new life. I anticipate this with full force. Nothing can stop me now.

Thank you, neighbours, for Marshie. Or something. Haven’t fix name yet. Thank you sisters, for the lame birthday song. Thank you, you, who came all the way just to wish me, and pass me a cake. Thank you, all who sms, called and left facebook messages.

I think I would have died a silent cry. Instead, nobody would let me. The best thing about this all is that, I learn today, to appreciate every single thing in my life, every facet of a beautiful mind.

This isn’t about being emo. This is about a celebration into a life that serves others.

It’s not about me. It’s about you. That is the theme for 24 now. A lifetime of servitude, to ensure all of you are with smiles at the end of the day. I can,

and will, be the person to do just that.

Thank you.

Thanks to the following peeps for their awesome testimonies.. I heart you all:

Yishenshu @ 1 Utama

Another vegetarian experience came when Zoe and I decided to locate for gooooood vegetarian food! I guess that happens when we have a self-claim vegetarian and another vegetarian food lover within ourselves πŸ˜›

So we headed to my favourite and cheap but posh restaurant which was Nan King, located at SS2 area, but it was close at 4pm (yea don’t ask why we were having lunch at 4pm!!!) and couldn’t wait for it to reopen at 6pm. That’s when I suggested trying 1 Utama’s Yishenshu, a place I’ve always wanted to go with Koyuuken who’s my Vegetarian food partner. I miss him πŸ™‚

A sneak peak!

Now that I’ve probably got you drooling a little, let’s get on with the review, shall we? πŸ˜‰

So we found ourselves in front of the restaurant, located right opposite TGIF and to the right of the escalators. It looks super classy and Zoe thought it was gonna be quite expensive. Well, she wasn’t far off the mark but it was still quite decent, with a dish costing from RM7 to RM16 per dish.

We proceeded to order some of the recommended dish they had on the menu. First up was our Wan Tan Noodles with Soy Char Siew.

The noodles were a bit overcooked, but I love how the Char Siew felt so real with its rough texture and tasty… porkish flavour πŸ˜› It was meant to be shared, together with one portion of brown rice (for the rest of the dishes) that costed RM2.

Then came the vegetables (in a vegetarian restaurant… duh!) which was really fake Abalone served with Mushrooms and Brocolli. Zoe ate most of this, guess she really loves to keep healthy with the number of greens she eats πŸ˜‰

Abalone tasted pretty weird, but I suppose you can’t really emulate the real deal eh, otherwise we’ll all happily eat vegetarian food for the rest of our lives and live forever wtf!

Next up was the favourite of our dishes, the Emporer To Fu. Refer to the picture at the top most of this post for its true worth. Tasting so much better than it looks, this dish is a must try! I won’t even want to describe the ingredients, nor the texture of the dish itself, because anything I say won’t do it justice. At all.

Zoe and I had half portion each. And we lapped up the sauce too. The sauce was amazing. How can a sauce be that amazing? I don’t know, but it was. I must go back here to try it again lol. Any takers with me this time round? πŸ˜‰

The Honey Chicken came shortly after, which didn’t quite make up to par. Then again I wanted to order something else in the menu that caught my eye, which was a recommended dish, but unfortunately they were sold out. Zoe eats the gingers though, so we ended up finishing this dish too, mostly by me of course. Or was it her? I can’t remember now πŸ˜›

Fact is, I really don’t remember how much I ate, or how much she ate. I’m being serious. She’s one girl who has an appetite of a…. erm… a leopard? (was that what you wore during Wild Life? lol) but ANYWAY the bottom line of it all is that… she has one hell of an apetite!

Take a look at that look on her face. It says “Hmmphh, this much food isn’t anything to me. Are you looking down on me, now?” HAHAHAHA okay i’m just joking. She was nothing but sweet and did nothing but wolf down the food as much as she could πŸ˜›

I would love to talk about our Banana Leaf experience, but that’s a story for another day, right Sue and Yee Hou? XD

So that was the end of our dinner review at Yishensu, 1 Utama, Ground Floor. Service was exceptionaly good, though I was quite disappointed that one of my dishes weren’t available. Price? Just about overpriced, so next time we’ll just settle for Nan King (Dishes there are about RM5-8 after membership discount!)Β  Oh well, every cow has its days apparently πŸ˜‰

Toodles now!

Nuffnang lunches

It’s no secret that I love having lunches with the Nuffies, cause they’ll travel about KL just to eat really good food. Just last week we had our session at this Bak Kut Teh store and it was really awesome. Of course having Yatz and WetWetWater (Twat :P) with us now adds on to the fun (and additional pervertism, as one would realise after hanging out with them enough lol)

2 weeks ago though, a day before Nuffnang’s Silent Haloween (that I’ve yet to blog about) we went to this really nice Vegetarian restaurant that apparently was visited by Robb and KY prior to our visit. One of their major attractions include this:

Yeap, the Durian Puff itself. Except that it’s in a form of a pancake pouch thingie, filled with real durian and full cream. Sweet and delicious, but as Robb pointed out to us, they’ve lessened the durian content a lot, adding more cream instead, otherwise it would have been awesome!

Then of course we had tofu. Where there’s Boss Stewie, there’s always fucuk or tofu. It’s like, he’s got something for soft, tender textures. Funnily enough though, since he admited that he doesn’t like to eat anything that’s wet, moist and tender. I wonder why that is?

Noodles came next and I think this was the favourite of the crowd. Whether it’s because it tasted great, or that compared with the other dishes it was the most appetizing, it did serve it’s purpose of adding the feel good purpose into our Friday lunches.

Seafood dried Yee Meen

There were more food, and also thanks to the pretty bad service we managed to get egg-tarts for free, one for the each of us. Which was quite a number! Here are some of them, starting with my favourite Firdy!

So cute Firdy, wink for the camera. He’s sooo adorable (and hot and wanted etc etc :P)

Yee Hou my darling and me! Yee Hou so cute. Yee Hou why are you still single!

Yee Hou doing that “look” again. So seductive. And Hot Robb (not to be confused with KFC’s Hot Rod) laughing away at the back. side. HAHA i is so teh funnehz.

I <3 my darlings. Chay Chay also one of them. His balding hair oh so hot.Β  Oh and presenting one of the only two females working in the company! Talk about fair employment, somebody must start questioning the boss’s selection process I say!

Obligatory group shot before I left because they ate till really late. Then the boss said this:

Boss: Why you all still eating here, today no work to do ah!
Rest: Boss also not at the office, no need to go back so early laaaaa!
Boss: wtf oh hai iz me! (ok i added the last bit myself but it’s really hilarious when he does it :D)

Sometimes I really don’t know how the Nuffies get anything done in the office at all. :/

(oh and the other female in this group shot is none other than Pinky! Unfortunately no one in the office regards as her one, so I’ll take the liberty to make sure she gets treated like a woman, no less. I’m such a nice guy :P)

Fast in, fast out.

This entry marks both achievement and failure of a plan that went out of my jurisdiction.

It was amazing while it lasted, and it’s also a lost now that it ended.

Uncontrollable elements were, after all, too much to handle I guess. But that only shows one thing: that there is a lot out there yet still uncovered. Undone.

The excitement boils me. Of course, not without a little regret.

I can only wish that, once again, people will see me for who I am. For I have a problem myself that will always be a bane in my life:

That I do not like to explain myself, nor do I feel I need to

That is all I ask for. At the end of the day, I live but to serve, and to see everyone’s smiling face πŸ˜€ Yes, even if it means I’m not part of the happiness. Because I can πŸ™‚

So if any of you have any requests or need some help, you know you can count on me. As my friend testified to me in one of his blog posts, I believe I’m a consistent friend before anything else. Let not what the world tells you affect you, for you are your own, and to live life to the fullest will always be my wish to you πŸ™‚

To all that has been affected by me in one way or another, and once believed in me but no longer, I deeply apologise for whatever adverse effect I had on you. Do forgive me, and if possible, I’d like a day when all of us can be friends together again, even if wasn’t as close as before. Thank you for your time, it was really, really fun while it lasted πŸ˜€

Truly, it was a case of too fast in, and too fast out.
