DiGi Broadband + Newest Family: BumbleTock

Hooray for DiGi! Just last week I twitted that I was too busy to meet up with an agent to get the new DiGi promotion at RM58/month, RM15/month for the modem (unlocked, unlike other telcos) and RM5 off via credit card payment, and the next thing they do is to send a super efficient and friendly rep (no, it's not the DiGi Man!) to come meet me at the office and within 1+ hour, there it was: 3G Turbo speed mobile internet with a likely download speed of 700kbps and upload of 200kbps.

And that's just RM68/month for 1 year for mobile internet! Of course the speed and all is yet to be determined, time for some Speedtest.net fun >:-)

The best part about it is that it goes perfectly well with BumbleTock, which used to be my sister's. Now it's mine >:-D

Plug and play!

Lemme introduce BumbleTock. It's approximately 2/3rd of my current laptop's size!

All should go well, except that I installed the awesome Ubuntu Remix for Netbook here, so it's not really functioning out-of-the-box. If I had Windows 7 configured to this computer then it’s a different ball game altogether

However I was impressed that the Ubuntu remix had an option to choose DiGi! Now all I need is the APN code. Can someone please provide me with it?

Otherwise all is swell. I think I'm falling in love with my Sony Viao Atombook + BumbleTock + DiGi Broadband MIX

Should I submit this to the competition that DiGi is having here? Well I certainly met the condition >>

Maybe I'll give it a shot then, cause there's always room for another netbook!

the APN is “3gdgnet”. Go submit ur photos! XD I’ve wont the HP mini too. :p now wait the contest ends.

Hi Christopher. nice to hear about Digi broadband here. Recently I decided to try the p1 wimax unfortunately later I learned that my area is out of coverage.

Maybe I want to try this Digi broadband soon as I heard it is the most stable one.
